Cassette Air Conditioner Repairs in Horison

Repairs for ceiling cassette units common in shops, restaurants and open-plan offices across Roodepoort. In Horison we work on ceiling cassette systems, and every job starts with a proper diagnosis rather than a guess. Diagnosis, repair, installation and maintenance of split, inverter, cassette, ducted and ceiling air conditioners for homes, offices and industrial sites.

Horison is a large, established residential suburb with a mix of freestanding homes and sectional-title complexes. We also regularly service the surrounding areas — Horison View, Discovery, Wilgeheuwel, Florida — so a technician is often already working nearby.

• The unit blows warm or stops cooling altogether, often pointing to a refrigerant leak, low gas charge or a failed compressor.
• Water drips indoors or stains the wall — usually a blocked condensate drain or a cracked drain tray.
• The system trips the power or won't start, which can trace back to a faulty capacitor, contactor or PCB.
• Strange noises, vibration or ice build-up on the coil indicate a fan motor, expansion valve or airflow problem.

• The room never reaches the set temperature or takes far longer than it used to.
• Energy bills climb with no other explanation as the unit works harder to hold temperature.
• Ice forms on the indoor coil or the outdoor unit goes quiet and restarts repeatedly.
• There is a burning smell, humming or clicking when the unit tries to start.

1. 1On-site diagnosis — we measure superheat and subcooling, check refrigerant pressures and electrical values, and confirm the root cause before quoting.
2. 2Quoted repair — you approve the work and parts before we proceed; no surprise charges.
3. 3Repair and test — we replace the failed component, reclaim and recharge refrigerant to spec, then verify temperatures and amperage.
4. 4Clean-up and report — the work area is left tidy and you receive a service note of what was done.

Most homes in Horison run ceiling cassette systems. We help homeowners with honest diagnosis, clear quotes and tidy work — whether it's a single split system, a domestic fridge or a heat pump that's stopped heating water.
